WELLS - Wells Improvement Group’s town-wide Holiday Home Decorating Contest came to conclusion during the annual Town of Wells Tree Burning / Covered Dish Supper Saturday, Jan. 7.

Winners were announced as follows: Most Traditional, Amy Taylor; Most Original, Fred and Linda Bobo; and Most Lights, Gerry and Susan Murphy.

Judging for the contest took place Dec. 19. WIG officers Kristy Wright, Maggie Welch and Jessica Damphier reported the challenge returned a number of terrific entries. Two thumbs up to the creative energy and Christmas spirit in the Town of Wells.

Turnout for this year’s tree burning was spectacular; high spirited camaraderie seasoned the event’s traditional potluck supper to perfection. The Town of Wells thanks all who attended and wishes everyone a very Happy New Year.
