Town of Indian Lake Budget Officer Pam Howard says the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts never asked for money in the Town of Indian Lake budget to specifically pay $5,000 for a bus driver and $2,000 for gasoline for transportation of preschoolers to its Arts from the Start program. “The previous supervisor put that in the budget and it was voted out by the Town Board members,” Howard says of the $7,000.

Regarding the request from the Adirondack Park Local Government Review Board for $300, it was not “cut” from the town’s budget. The item was never part of this year’s budget.
