Disappearing deer

Adirondack deer have had an easy winter so far, with little snow and moderate temperatures. These two posed near Fish Mountain Road in Lake Pleasant. Morehouse Rod & Gun Club is hosting a meeting with state wildlife biologists on the vanishing deer herd Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in Morehouse Recreation Center on State Route 8. Anyone interested is invited.
