Madcap merriment

Members of the Lake Pleasant Central School Drama Club practiced their lines, singing and dancing for weeks before performing the musical romp "Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr." April 12 and 13. When small-town girl Millie Dillmount goes to New York City in 1922 she delights in the flapper lifestyle, but checks into a hotel owned by the leader of a slavery ring in China. The play is filled with dashing leading men, frisky flappers and a villainess audiences love to hate.
