BLUE MT. LAKE - The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts has announced that four Adirondack teenagers will be traveling to Syracuse to take part in The Redhouse's Theatrical Institute on full scholarship this summer.

Colleen Pine and Vicky Franco of Indian Lake, Brandon Bedore of Tupper Lake and Melissa Murphy of Old Forge will experience a month-long intensive drama and music camp and dive into the world of professional theatre.

Their scholarships are being paid with grant funds received from the North Country Regional Economic Development Council, according to ALCA Managing Director Alexandria Harris.

The four teens will also participate in the touring production of "Shrek" as part of the Adirondack Lakes Summer Theatre Festival.
