Don't miss LL school's Community Connections

LONG LAKE--This spring's Community Connections will start at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 9, with dinner at Long Lake Central School. Workshops begin at 6 p.m.

Community Connections brings school district residents together to share a healthy meal and an evening of workshops and displays set up throughout the school. The event is free, but donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of the meal.

Programming includes Russell Rider's "Big Vegetation for Dummies," Zumba, Reiki, Living with Black Bears, Beyond Computer Basics, Rafting in the Grand Canyon, Ballroom Dancing and much, much more. There will be a coffee and dessert area and an open jam session.

The Long Lake PTSO will provide free childcare for pre-K through third-graders. Activities for fourth-graders and up include a movie.
