Thursday, August 01, 2013 - Updated: 10:58 PM

NORTHVILLE - The Aug. 8 Red Rooster program here will feature musicians John and Amy Birchler with folk music.

Sacandaga Task Force for Senior Living's Red Rooster Café (Pink Chicken) is at the corner of Bridge and Main streets in Northville. Programs are held Thursdays.

Musician Gary Van Slyke will present "A Summer Medley" for the Aug. 15 program.

Judy Pettit will talk about the TOPS program Aug. 22, and the STFSL bus will be available to try out.

Aug. 29 Bill Oates, director of Rehabilitation Services at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, will present "How Aging Affects Balance."

Each program follows the weekly congregate meal, served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One may attend Red Rooster programs without attending the meal, or bring a bag lunch.

Those who wish to enjoy the meal are asked to call Fulton County Office for the Aging at 736-5650 to make lunch reservations.
