IABA nominations due by Nov. 19

INLET - The Inlet Area Business Association is accepting nominations for officers. Members and friends of the Inlet area business community are welcome to participate.

Officer positions on the Executive Board are: chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and director-at-large. Positions that will be elected this year are chairman, secretary and director-at-large.

Nominations will be accepted via email and at the next IABA meeting Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at Inlet Town Hall. At this meeting IABA will finalize a slate of candidates which will then be published via email and available at the Inlet Information Office.

Officer elections will take place at the IABA Meeting & Evening Social tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11. Appetizers will be provided by IABA along with a cash bar. IABA needs active members and interested officers, so those interested in serving may nominate themselves.

IABA events include: Adirondack Memory Walk, Black Fly Challenge and One Square Mile of Hope. Events supported by IABA include Adirondack Ice Bowl, Adirondack Kids Day, Adirondack Sled Dog Races, Community Pride Day, Frozen Fire & Lights and Inlet Summer Concert Series.

The purpose of the IABA is to help increase and improve the business economy in the Town of Inlet and the surrounding area, to act as publicity bureau for the same, and to advance the business interests of said area... Businesses, professionals and friends of the Inlet business community are welcome.
