LONG LAKE--A Memorial Mass for Armand H. Pinard, 90, Brasher Falls, will be held at 1 p.m.  Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the  St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Long Lake with the Rev. Peter Berg officiating. There will be no public calling hours.
Mr. Pinard passed away April 30, 2014 at his home.
Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Veronique; two sons, Michael Pinard and his wife Michele of Brasher Falls and Steven Pinard of Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Danielle Hamberger and her husband Stephen of Angola, N.Y.; a brother, Edouard Pinard and his wife Simone; two sisters, Elizabeth Daigle and Florence Rouleau; grandchildren Michael Culhane, Mrs. Richard Catherine Culhane-Metsch, Thomas Culhane, Eric Hamberger, Chantal Pinard and Sarah Pinard; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Lucy Metsch; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A daughter, Carmen Culhane; a grandson, Matthew Culhane; and siblings Lucien, Wilfrid, Paul, Maurice, Mary Rose and Germaine predeceased him.
Armand was born March 15, 1924 in Ascot Corner, Quebec, a son of the late Wilfrid Henri and Elizabeth (Marquis) Pinard.
He married Veronique M. Hebert May 29, 1948 in Quebec.
Armand was a self-educated inventor, welder, mechanic and businessman extraordinaire. He owned and operated Armand Pinard Logging for many years and enjoyed cooking, flower and vegetable gardening and was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Long Lake. Armand was very devoted to his family, especially caring for his wife for many years.

Robert O. Perry

WELLS--Robert O. Perry, 80, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at his home in Selma, Ala. Born July 15, 1933 in Wells, he was the son of the late Leon and Agnes Conway Perry.
Survivors include his companion  Floyd “Wes” Weaver; three sons, Kevin Perry of Tennessee, Todd Perry of Mayfield and Bryan Perry of Gloversville; one sister, Leona Aird of Wells; one granddaughter, Cristen Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at the Wells Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wells Ambulance Corp., POB 550, Wells, NY 12190.
Carol A. Ford
October 3, 1941 – December 26, 2013

MOREHOUSE--Graveside services for Carol A. Ford will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Morehouse Methodist Cemetery, Route  8. This service will take place at 1 p.m. and be officiated by David Anderson. At the conclusion of the service everyone is invited to the Morehouse Museum. Please join us in honoring Carol’s years of dedication in the preservation of history in the Town of Morehouse.
