Wednesday, Jan. 2: Jered J. Getman, 26, Herkimer, was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny in connection with thefts in the Town of Morehouse after being arrested by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Getmen is one defendant of three involved in three separate burglaries in Morehouse in August 2012. He was arraigned in Morehouse Town Court, where bail was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond. Getman is to appear in Morehouse Town Court Jan. 24 at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 3, 12:45pm: Edward C. Desrochers, 26, Speculator, was charged with second-degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Johnstown Police Department made the arrest at 31-41 E. Main St. Desrochers allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl at Knox Field in Johnstown at around 2 a.m. Dec. 15, 2012.
Desrochers is being held at Fulton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and Hamilton County Probation Department assisted the JPD in locating Desrochers.
Monday, Jan. 7, 10:45pm: William J. Blair, 28, Indian Lake, was charged with second-degree menacing - weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, both Class A misdemeanors. Bail was set at $1,500. State Police made the arrest after responding to a 9:18 p.m. report.
Wednesday, Jan. 9: Matthew R. Nasadoski, 24, Hagaman, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and uninspected motor vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office made the arrest in the Town of Wells. Nasadoski is to appear in Wells Town Court Jan. 22.
