The session will be held at Indian Lake Theater from 10 a.m. to noon and is open to the public. Coffee and pastries will be served.
Most of the conversation at this year’s Update Day will center around the Adirondack Challenge and the run-up to the event.
“Indian Lake will be the epicenter of the Festival celebration Sunday, July 21, the day of both an invitational whitewater race on the Indian River and a flatwater canoe race on Indian Lake,” said Hamilton County Economic Development and Tourism Director Ann Melious.
The Adirondack Challenge will be preceded by Adirondack Challenge Festival Week, and the hope is that the entire Adirondack Park will participate with events. “Being part of the festival is going to give businesses and organizations a lot of exposure,” Melious said.
Advance registration is not required to attend the May 13 Tourism Update Day. The Adirondack Challenge website can be accessed at www.iloveny.com/adkchallenge.
