The Book Club Selection for the Monday, Aug. 19, meeting is "Girl in Translation" by Jean Kwak at Diane Corvetti's home at 7 p.m. to discuss the book. Please call her at 548-5382 and let her know if you are coming. Pick up a book or CD at the library and join us.

Adirondack Room Exhibit: Artist John Jazeboski is exhibiting his artwork, landscape oil paintings, in the Adirondack Room during August. John lives in Piseco and also does custom framework. To exhibit, call our Adirondack Room scheduler, May Fitzgerald, at 548-3338.

Huge Book Sale: The Friends are holding a book sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18, from 12-3 p.m. at the library on Rt. 8. If you have any books you'd like to donate we'll be very happy to take them.
