Red Rooster programs set for September

NORTHVILLE - The Sept. 5 Red Rooster program here will feature Sheriff Thomas Lorey from the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, who will provide information about the Yellow Dot Program.

Sacandaga Task Force for Senior Living's Red Rooster Café (Pink Chicken) is at the corner of Bridge and Main streets in Northville. Programs are held Thursdays.

The Red Rooster program will host Maurice Padula from the NYS Attorney General's Office Sept. 12. He will present "Take Scam Artists to Task! How to Empower Yourself as a Fraud Fighter!"

Bill Mackey of Northville Funeral Home will discuss "Natural Burials" during the Sept. 19 program.

On Sept. 26 the Red Rooster program will include Home-Health Care Partners, which will hold its monthly Blood Pressure Clinic. In addition, Ony Antonucci will host an "Old Time Sing A Long."

Each program follows the weekly congregate meal, served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One may attend Red Rooster programs without attending the meal, or bring a bag lunch.

Those who wish to enjoy the meal are asked to call Fulton County Office for the Aging at 736-5650 to make lunch reservations.
