Larceny leads to arrest



LONG LAKE - A Norwich couple was arrested following a report of a stolen wallet at Long Lake Diner here.

The call came into Hamilton County Sheriff's Department at about noon Sept. 30, which sent Deputy Alex Stuart, who was in Long Lake, after a blue Hyundai Santa Fe and notified State Police of the incident, asking for assistance in locating the vehicle.

A trooper observed the suspect vehicle on State Route 28N/30 in Indian Lake. The trooper initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver, Gary L. Fullmer, 59, and his passenger, Peggy A. Fullmer, 59.

Gary Fullmer was taken into custody at 12:50 p.m. for driving while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .10 percent. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of more than .08 percent and DWI.

Fullmer is to appear in Indian Lake Justice Court Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. He was further ticketed for inadequate stop lamps.

Stuart took Peggy Fullmer into custody, charging her with petit larceny.
