Local students attending SUNY Adirondack college

QUEENSBURY - SUNY Adirondack here, a two-year community college and part of the State University of New York system, welcomed more than 1,100 first-time full-time students this fall.

New students include Julious Dunbar of Indian Lake, Kyle McMurtry of Long Lake and Lea Crowningshield of North Creek.

SUNY Adirondack serves students from locations in Queensbury and Wilton and online. SUNY Adirondack offers a student-centered experience with accredited learning, student activities and athletics.

Signature job-ready academic offerings include New Media, BusinessPass, Tech Valley Track, Adventure Sports, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Culinary Arts and Cisco IT Computer Networking.

SUNY Adirondack also offers liberal arts transfer options that seamlessly transfer to other SUNY campuses. Its on-campus Regional Higher Education Center in Queensbury also offers access to bachelor's and master's degrees.
