On behalf of the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, we thank the community for your support and participation in our very successful 4th Annual Great Adirondack Moose Festival (GAMF) Sept. 28-29.
Thanks to our generous Bull Moose sponsors: Adirondack Camp Antiques; Frontier Communications; gra*Fix; Hamilton County Planning, Tourism & Community Development; Hutchins Construction Inc.; Indian Lake Restaurant, Tavern and Liquor Store; Indian Lake Theater; North Country Public Radio; and Town of Indian Lake. This year's success was achieved due to your support.
The two-day family fun event continues to grow in popularity and was visited by more than 2,000 people who came from all over the Northeast. The 2013 GAMF highlights were the annual Moose Calling Contest, which continues to attract a full house at Indian Lake Theater, and the Big Moose Tent, held on the school lawn with featured vendors who demonstrated and sold Adirondack-themed and handmade crafts. Both activities had record-breaking attendance.
Thanks to our Big Daddy Moose sponsors that included: Adirondack "By Owner" LLC; Adirondack Museum; Barton Mines Company LLC; Blue Line Electrical Services LLC; Gadway Realty; J&R Eldredge; McCadam Distributors Inc.; New York State Energy Research Development Authority; Pepsi Beverages Company; Pine's Country Store; Protech Audio Corporation; Steet Toyota; and Stewarts' Shops.
To plan and execute a successful GAMF required the participation and support of numerous businesses, community organizations and volunteers including the Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake Fish and Game Club, Hamilton County Express, News Enterprise, Indian Lake Garden Club, Indian Lake Museum, Indian Lake Central School District, ALCA, North Country Crafters and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
Thanks for helping make our 4th Annual Great Adirondack Moose Festival profitable, entertaining and educational.
