Please jump on board

Dear Cris,

If you are a caregiver, you know taking care of someone who needs your assistance can be very rewarding, and challenging at the same time.

Anyone who takes care of a disabled child, an ill spouse or aging relative knows there are good days, bad days and everything in between. It is estimated that more than 65 million Americans provide care to a loved one.

My husband and I take care of my older sister, Marsha, who is mentally challenged. She has been with us for 11 years.

There have been services available for her, which has been a true blessing, but public funding for people with disabilities is set to be reduced drastically, leaving fewer options for those who care for their loved ones.

It has always been my hope and dream to open respite houses to help the caregiver. We have a vehicle, as Ambit Energy independent consultants, which could enable our respite dream to come true.

Due to energy deregulation people can now choose their energy supplier. If they choose Ambit, a small portion of each monthly payment they make can go toward making My Sister's Respite house come true.

Ambit Energy helps a cause raise money while saving people money on their monthly energy bills, and the revenue stream continues month after month.

Ambit provides service in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington, D.C. By switching your gas and/or electric to Ambit, you will save money and help us out as well.

Any corporations, individuals, churches, etc. that would like to be part of this, please jump on board.

You can go directly to our site to sign up at or contact us at (518) 648-5849. I can send you a link that explains the program in more detail. Thank you for your time, and energy!
