Book Sale venue changed

Monday, June 30, 2014 - Updated: 8:31 PM

Dear Editor,

The annual book sale hosted by The Friends of the Northville Library will run Thursday through Saturday, July 3-5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Because the book sale has outgrown the library parking lot, it will be held this year in the Northville Central School gym on Bridge St. Admission is free, except for Thursday, July 3, from 9-10 a.m., when a $3 early bird admission fee will be charged.

Over 8,000 "previously read" paperback and hardcover books will be offered at bargain prices.

I would like to thank all the volunteers who help to plan, set up, break down and work at the sale, plus those who donate books. This includes the Friends of the Library, Northville school staff, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H and Little League.

An extra big thank you goes to Joan Crean, who spends all year searching for, collecting, organizing and categorizing books.

We invite you to join us at our 2014 book sale. It promises to be the biggest one we have had so far.

Lauren Gritsavage
