No gift is too small

Sunday, September 08, 2013 - Updated: 8:03 PM

Dear Cris,

I have been a part of Speculator and Lake Pleasant for 50 years, enjoying every moment of it. The overwhelming volunteer and financial support for a multitude of community projects is inspirational.

Having been involved with a wide variety of these projects and fundraisers, I am especially pleased to be supportive of the current expansion plans for our community park.

The work of the Revitalization Committee, Garden Club, the town and village and the generosity of the Feldmeiers and Tunneys and current donors has brought us close to the realization of highlighting the site of a historic heavyweight boxer training camp, by acquiring the perfect addition to an already well established popular spot and keeping a southern entry point to the village and Adirondacks attractive.

Every dollar donated is tax-deductible and will be doubled, thanks to Jay and Kelly Tunney's match. Make your donation today... checks may be made out to the Village of Speculator with a note on the memo line reading "Osborne Point" and mailed to POB 396, Speculator NY 12164. No gift is too small.
