Happy New Year

Oak Mountain Ski Center ushered in the New Year Monday, Dec. 31, with family fun in mid-evening followed by a traditional midnight celebration. Temperatures in the high 20s most likely contributed to the packed parking lot and the happy night skiers. Over half an hour of almost continuous fireworks lit the night as well over 150 revelers stood outdoors to watch. Almost as many took in the show from the warmth of the lodge.
