Saturday, March 31: A Long Lake man, Thom B. Ross, 22, was killed in a one-car accident early Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:30 am, New York State Police Sgt. Reinaldo Alvarez responded to a one vehicle accident on Deerland Road in the Town of Long Lake near Emerson Road.
Alvarez reported Ross was traveling northbound on Deerland Road when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, went into the southbound lane, hit a snowbank, went airborne, overturned and hit a tree.

Thursday, Feb. 28, 5:46 p.m.: Betty L. Goldbeck, 63, Wells, and Joel K. Rios, 23, Sprakers, were injured in a two-car accident on Rt. 30A in Gloversville, between S. Kingsboro Ave. and Harrison St.

Friday, Jan. 25, 6pm: Leia Gaccione, 29, Patterson, N.J. was injured when her snowmobile failed to negotiate a left hand corner on the FX Matts trail in the Town of Inlet, went off of the trail and struck a rock.
Inlet Volunteer Ambulance Squad transported Gaccione to a Utica hospital. Inlet police investigated, assisted by Town of Webb police. Both the Inlet and Eagle Bay fire departments assisted at the scene.
