State Police believe they have solved Indian Lake burglaries going back to May 6 and Oct. 17, 2014, with the arrests of two men.
Peter J. Lapell, 42, Warrensburg, and Kenneth D. Palmer, 64, Granville, have both charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a Class E felony, and second-degree criminal trespass.
Lapell was arrested Jan. 15. Palmer was arrested Jan. 28. The men turned themselves in at the State Police station on Rt. 28 in the Town of Indian Lake.

According to Troop B Public Information Officer Jennifer Fleishman, a relative called police at 11:23 a.m. to ask for a welfare check on Annette M. Adams, 68. Friday, Jan. 2: The Jan. 2 unattended death of Fredrick Wilson, 91, in Long Lake has been ruled accidental, according to State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer V. Fleishman.
Wilson, owner of The Corner Motel in Long Lake near Mt. Sabattis on State Route 28N/30, had lived alone there after his wife passed away a few years ago.
Apparently Wilson fell off a chair and hit his head on the floor. An autopsy revealed his death was due to blunt force trauma.

Friday, Nov. 21, 4:59 p.m.: Deidra Roblee reported a chimney fire at her Route 30 home in Blue Mountain Lake. Blue Mountain Lake Volunteer Fire Department responded with 10 men. Chief Gregg George says Roblee "had it pretty well out by the time we got there."
