Cardboard Sled Race Circuit resumes

INDIAN LAKE - Round 2 of the Central Adirondack Cardboard Sled Race Circuit will take place Sunday, Feb. 17, during the annual Winter-fest Celebration here.

The competition heats up with two races the same day. Indian Lake will host the second race at 1 p.m. at the ski hill on Route 30 and Old Forge will host the third race the same day at 3 p.m.

It is not too late to enter. Competitors can participate in both races Sunday.

Moving forward as the circuit leader, Bob Lewin with 25 points looks forward to both of these races.

Racers must compete in three of the four races to qualify for points and must use the same sled, regardless of condition. Points are given for placing for Race Time, Best Design and Participation.

The final race will take place at Inlet’s Frozen Fire & Lights Saturday, Feb. 23.
