Friday, April 18, 2014 - Updated: 10:59 AM

Community Pride Day is Wednesday, May 7, this year.

HAMILTON COUNTY -- All volunteers are being asked to check in and sign up early for a section of roadway and to reserve a shirt size and to let organizers know how many people to expect for lunch.

Signing up ensures that all roads get the attention they need to be ready for summer.

Every volunteer who shows up May 7 will receive a free shirt and lunch. Check in anytime after 9 a.m. at the locations below to pick up shirt, trash bags and rubber gloves.

Work gloves are recommended, but not supplied. When volunteers check in they will be told when and where lunch will be held.

To sign up early in Inlet or Eagle Bay contact the Inlet Information Office (315) 357-5501; in Long Lake or Raquette Lake the town Parks, Recreation and Tourism Office (518) 624-3077; in Indian Lake or Blue Mountain Lake the Indian Lake Town Hall (518) 648-5828; in Speculator, Lake Pleasant, Arietta and Morehouse the Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce at (518) 548-4521.
