Raquette Lake Volunteer Ambulance Service

Wednesday, May 14, 2014 - Updated: 11:33 AM

The Raquette Lake Volunteer Ambulance Service was incorporated June 27, 2012 as a sibling organization to Raquette Lake Volunteer Fire Department. The organizations work side by side to provide the best emergency medical services to Raquette Lake residents and visitors.

RLVAS has six EMT-Basics: Louis Burke, Tom Mattice, Mitch Edelstein, Kurt Murdock, Ann LaFrance and newly certified EMT Gillian Meade. Michael Lamphear is a Critical Care Tech as well as fire chief.

We believe we have the longest run to a hospital in New York state - 76 miles.

Our meeting date is the first Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the fire hall.

Donations may be mailed to Raquette Lake Volunteer Ambulance Squad, POB 125, Raquette Lake NY 13436.
