Wednesday, May 14, 2014 - Updated: 5:17 PM

LONG LAKE--The Seventh Annual Adirondack Trails Conference will be Saturday, May 17, starting at 10 a.m. at The Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake for snowmobilers interested in Adirondack snowmobile trail issues.

RSVPs are required. Email to as soon as possible.

Most Adirondack area NYS Department of Environmental Conservation officials will be there to meet and work directly with club representatives on issues surrounding snowmobile trails within “the blue line.” Work plans, signage, understanding both sides of the regulations, and other pertinent issues will be discussed.

Coffee and cookies will be served. Direct all queries and RSVPs to: Trails Coordinator Jim Rolf, New York State Snowmobile Association, POB 1040, Pine Bush NY 12566-1040; (888) 624-3849 Ext. 102; (315) 335-0791 (cell); or email: conference is a great way to find out what the DEC and the Adirondack Park Agency have planned for Adirondack snowmobiling. Questions will be taken.
