35 Hamilton County seniors to graduate

Thirty-five Hamilton County high school seniors will graduate in ceremonies next week at Indian Lake Central School, Long Lake Central School, Johnstown High School, Town of Webb School and Wells Central School.

Other local schools are holding elementary and junior high school graduation and moving up exercises.

INDIAN LAKE CENTRAL SCHOOL has nine graduates this year. Graduation will begin at noon in the school gym Saturday, June 28. Shannon Farrell is valedictorian and Andrea Brown is salutatorian.

INLET COMMON SCHOOL will hold a spring concert and graduation ceremony Monday, June 23, starting at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony's Church Hall for grades K-6. Three sixth-graders will be graduating to Town of Webb School. The public is invited to attend.

JOHNSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL has six Hamilton County seniors graduating this year: Abbie Bobbette, Thomas Germain, Brianne O’Rourke, Daniel Page, Elizabeth Speece and Austin Vogel. Graduation will be Saturday, June 28, starting at 10 a.m. at Knox Field.

LAKE PLEASANT CENTRAL SCHOOL will hold a graduation ceremony for its 11 ninth-graders Thursday, June 26, starting at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Kindergarten Graduation will be Friday, June 20, at 1:15 p.m.

LONG LAKE CENTRAL SCHOOL is holding graduation for the Class of 2014 Friday, June 27, in the school gymnasium starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be a valedictory speech by Shaneka Burch, a salutatory speech by Ranya Hamdan and a guest speaker, English teacher Noelle Short.

TOWN OF WEBB SCHOOL has two Hamilton County seniors among its graduating class, Mercedes Rice and Sara Carnell. Graduation is Friday, June 27, at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

WELLS CENTRAL SCHOOL will send off 12 seniors Friday, June 27, in graduation ceremonies starting at 7 p.m. Valedictorian is Jessica Rhodes and salutatorian is Matthew Michienzi.
