Students going to SUNY Potsdam

POTSDAM -- State University of New York at Potsdam has accepted over 800 new students, including two from the Long Lake area.

The accepted students include Gillian Damiani of Long Lake, who is set to graduate from Frontier Senior High School in Hamburg; and Alexander Ruzbacki of Newcomb, who is set to graduate from Newcomb Central School.

SUNY Potsdam's Class of 2018 will begin classes in August.

Founded in 1816, SUNY Potsdam is one of America's first 50 colleges. It is home to the world-renowned Crane School of Music.
