Send unwanted items to the rummage sale

Friday, June 06, 2014 - Updated: 11:24 PM

PISECO -- Summer is almost here and the Piseco Fire Department Auxiliary is gearing up for its Annual Fourth of July Rummage Sale Friday, July 4.

The auxiliary relies on everyone in the area to make the sale a success. All kinds of contributions are needed. So while opening up camp and doing spring cleaning remember to donate items no longer needed or wanted. All kinds of "stuff" will be needed -- furniture, working appliances, kitchen items, toys, tools, knickknacks, sporting equipment, clothing -- anything saleable. This year the auxiliary is not able to accept TVs.

Please donate only clean items in good order and hold them until June 29 to drop them off on the porch of Piseco Community Hall. For more information contact Nancy Wheeler at 548-8204 or Sue Casey at 548-5283.
