Welcome to another summer season at Piseco Library. As part of the recently created Piseco Education Center (formerly Piseco Common School), we are pleased to announce our extended hours of service, a large variety of new books (see list below), and an exciting Summer Coffeehouse Series.

Library hours are Mondays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays 12:30-4:30 p.m. and Thursdays 7-9 p.m. as well as during any hours the Education Center is open. Call 548-7555.

The annual Book Sale will be Saturday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Remaining events in the Coffeehouse Series are folk songwriter and performer Bill Staines Thursday, July 25, and Jamcrackers (Dan Duggan, Peggy Lynn and Dan Berggren) with Adirondack folk music Thursday, Aug. 15, both from 7-9 p.m.

New in the Adult Fiction section are "A Delicate Truth" by John LeCarre, "Private Berlin" by James Patterson, "Elsewhere" by Richard Russo, "Inferno" by Dan Brown, "And the Mountains Echoed" by Khaled Hosseini, "Leaving Everything Most Loved" by Jacqueline Winspear, "The Son" by Philipp Meyer, "Alex Cross Run" by James Patterso, "Paris" by Edward Rutherfurd, "The Leopard" by Jo Nesbo, "Home" by Toni Morrison, "The Heist" by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg, "The Lost Runaway" by Tracy Chevalier, "Whiskey Beach" by Nora Roberts, "The Hit" by David Balducci, "Flight Behavior" by Barbara Kingsolver and "Second Honeymoon" by James Patterson.

In the Science Fiction section, "The Sparrow" and "Children of God" by Mary Doria Russell are new.

New to Adult Non-fiction are "Revolutionary Summer" by Joseph Ellis, "My Beloved World" by Sonia Sotomayor, "The Patriarch" by Joseph Kennedy, "Top of the Morning" by Brian Stelter and "Killing Kennedy" by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard.

New Adult CD Audiobooks are "And the Mountains Echoed" by Khaled Hosseini, "A Delicate Truth" by John LeCarre, "The Leopard" by Jo Nesbo and "Home" by Toni Morrison.
