Fourth Lake property owners to meet

Sunday, August 03, 2014 - Updated: 12:48 PM

INLET -- The Fourth Lake Property Owners Association will hold its annual meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in Inlet Town Hall.

FLPOA restored, maintains, and operates the Shoal Point lighthouse as a guide to navigation and a symbol of the association. It keeps its members informed as it monitors commercial and private development around the shore and advocates and works toward responsible boating and other activities on Fourth Lake.

Although FLPOA cooperates with the Fulton Chain of Lakes Association, it does not, itself, monitor water quality. FLPOA also works with the Adirondack Park Agency and local towns to encourage responsible business development on the lake.

FLPOA is considering an antiques show and sale at some point in the future and is soliciting donations. Call Jim Herschel at (315) 357-6866 with anything to contribute.

The FLPOA anticipates having an expert at the event to appraise pieces attendees want evaluated.
