New Vision Program graduates 12

SARANAC LAKE -- Twelve area high school seniors were recently honored as graduating members of the New Vision Program, Class of 2014, including Ranya Hamdan of Long Lake.

The heartfelt ceremony in a room filled to capacity capped a year of rigorous academic work paired with clinical rotations alongside Adirondack Health staff.

New Vision is a division of the Adirondack Educational Center and the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) of Franklin, Essex and Hamilton Counties.

This year's graduating class includes: Hanna Potter of Lake Placid; Lindsay Yamrick, Krystal Gilbert, and Janelle Edwards of Tupper Lake; Cassitty Rose, Aaron Noel, Gwen Goudreau, Hanna Courcelle, Jenny Ward, Brittany Woodruff, and McKayla Duffy, all of Saranac Lake; and Hamdan.
