Friends of the Lake Pleasant Library

A new shipment of books, CDs and DVDs is in. Stop in and check them out.

Adult Fiction: "Custard Crime" and "Deep Fried Homicide" by Jessica Beck; "Daniel," "Ryan and Sea" and "Michael and Patrick" by Sherryl Woods; "Deadly Heat" and "Frozen Heat" by Richard Castle; "Fortune Cookie" by Josi Kilpack; "Friday Night Knitting Club," "Knit The Season" and "Knit Two" by Kate Jacobs, "Invisible" by James Patterson; "Power Play" by Catherine Coulter; "Shattered" by Kevin Hearne; "The Bourne Ascendancy" by Eric Van Lustbader; and "Water Walker" by Ted Dekker.

Adult CD Audiobooks: "Knit the Season" by Kate Jacobs.

Non-Fiction: "Hard Choices" by Hillary Clinton.

Children's Fiction Picture Book: "A Library Book for Bear" by Bonny Becker.

Children's Non-Fiction: Ages 5-8 -- "I Am Abraham Lincoln," "I Am Amelia Earhart" and Ages 3-5 -- "I Am Rosa Parks" by Brad Meltzer.

Children's CD Audiobooks: For Ages 8-12 -- "The Horse and His Boy," "The Magician's Nephew," and "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" by C.S. Lewis.

DVDs: "Despicable Me," "Despicable Me 2," "Rise of the Guardians," "The Lego Movie," "The Owls of Ga'hoole," "Transformers Animated," and "Walking With Dinosaurs," all rated PG.

Adirondack Room Exhibitor: Photographer Anita Desrochers from Piseco is featured this summer in the Adirondack Room at the library. Her photos reflect a wide range of interest and can be seen through Aug. 16.
