Six two-person teams competed in the annual Horseshoe Toss Tournament held at Indian Lake's Byron Park Saturday, Aug. 17. This was serious but good-natured competition between some of the usual suspects and a group of new players from North Tonawanda up for vacation. The six teams competed for modest cash prize awards for first, second and third places. First place went to George McCane and Jay Cummins. Zeke Martz and Lee Page of Speculator took second place and third went to Emit Hall and Brad Hutchins.
