Small citizens do big job

Thursday, September 19, 2013 - Updated: 11:28 PM

Dear Editor,

I am writing this letter to tell you about a wonderful group of children and their adult advisors. These are the children who attended Wells Vacation Bible School.

They collected cash and food items for our local food pantry throughout their week at VBS. This wasn't a huge group of participants; however, the amount of provisions and money they collected and donated to the pantry was gigantic in comparison to their size and age.

These children have truly learned the lessons of caring and sharing. Wells Food Pantry staff is very thankful for these small citizens.
