Red Rooster programs set

NORTHVILLE - The Oct. 10 Red Rooster program here will feature Fulton County Public Health Educator Christina Akey discussing ticks.

Sacandaga Task Force for Senior Living's Red Rooster Café (Pink Chicken) is at the corner of Bridge and Main streets in Northville. Programs are held Thursdays.

Oct. 17 the Red Rooster program will host Alan Forster from the Community Health Center. He will discuss preventing falls.

Oct. 24 John Snyder will present "Finding New Gears for Your Later Years: How Can I Drive Safer, Longer."

Oct. 31 Brigettta Giulianelli from the North East New York Alzheimer's Association will present "The Ten Warning Signs."

Each program follows the weekly congregate meal, served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One may attend Red Rooster programs without attending the meal, or bring a bag lunch.

Those who wish to enjoy the meal are asked to call Fulton County Office for the Aging at 736-5650 to make lunch reservations.
